Bringing school (and fun) back to Campus 805
It all started with Rocket City Lasers!
We began this adventure in teaching students and adults how to create their own laser shows more than a year ago. With a bigger staff, we can now offer classes on coding with Rocket City Coders!
Come and join us on this adventure to bring the learning fun back to the famous Campus 805 (a former High School) here in Huntsville, AL.

Alex Hall
Alex Hall, Founder and CEO, has been engaged in informal science education for more than three decades. A former science center CEO, children's science book author, and current mom to a fifth grader, Alex has taught all ages about physics, space, aviation and just being curious about everything!
Float
“Float” transplanted to HSV over 10 years ago from Atlanta, Ga. He splits his time between his two passions, art and science, working as both a mural artist and a STEM educator. He started his educational career developing and teaching STEAM (STEM + Arts) curriculum with HSV STEAM Works and worked with the Boys and Girls club of North Alabama.
Alexander Garcia
Alexander Garcia transplanted to HSV in 2019 from Miami, Fl. After graduating from FIU, he started working as game designer for a local game studio and then later as a graphic designer. Currently, he spends his time as a laser instructor with RCL and coding his own video games.
Michael Buford
Michael Buford is a Huntsville native with a lifelong love for astronomy. He graduated from UAH in 2018 with a BA in Psychology and minor in Management & Leadership. He worked at the US Space and Rocket Center as an Astronomy & General Space Camp Presenter for three years.
Taylor Underwood
Taylor has been a math tutor and a Space Camp Counselor, instructing and engaging with students in STEM subjects for over seven years. They bring a passion for uncovering the ‘aha’ moments with students and being an active collaborator in the process of discovery and learning.
